Century Software Wins Two Awards at SEBA Awards 2019

Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd won two awards at the recent SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2019, one of the most reputable local industry awards. Century Software won the Revolutionary Business Solution – Finance award and Chief Executive Officer, Zainul Arrifin Harun picked up the Strategic Financial Entrepreneur of The Year award.

The 4th SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2019 saw Malaysia’s SMEs and entrepreneurs honoured and awarded at the Recognition Gala Dinner. The event, which was officiated by YBhg Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan, Minister of Entrepreneur Development was held at the Palace of the Golden Horses.

SEBA is an annual initiative set up by Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia and is supported by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development (MED) Malaysia to recognise Malaysia most outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises while uncovering growing talents and upcoming companies that are transforming the industries they operate.

LADA Awarded For Customer Relationship – 20 Years Of Excellence

Founded on March 15, 1990 and placed under the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance, Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) incorporated under an Act of Parliament to develop Pulau Langkawi to be an International Tourist Destination. The core purpose of LADA is to prioritize the integrated development through strategic planning, best management practices and collaboration with government agencies, industry and community leaders.

LADA has been Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd client for 20 years and to honor the customer relationship we have awarded LADA with a small token of appreciation.

Perkeso – Labour Day Run / Ride 2019 Event

Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) organized the Labour Day Run and Ride 2019 in conjunction with the 2019 Labour Day Celebration on 28th April 2019. This programme is a continuation of Labour Day Run and Ride 2018 organised by SOCSO in 2018 at Dataran Putrajaya. We would like to take this opportunity to thank participants for your particiation and support for this event.

In line with SOCSO’s aspiration of developing employee wellness culture in Malaysia, this event is expected to inculcate healthy lifestyle among employees, including being actively involved in physical activities and exercise so that employees are fit and productive.

Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd was a Silver sponsor of the event. The activities done through our booth were as follows :

  • We gave out mineral bottled water to the participants after the run.
  • Umbrella’s were given out in exchange for surveys filled by the participants which contributed in higher lead generation.
  • TenderWizard brochures , Century Software pens and bags were given out as well to those interested in our product

ABSS Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Asian Business Software Solutions (ABSS), the leading provider of accounting software for small businesses recently announced the appointment of Rhys Brown to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Rhys who was previously the Group Sales Director for ABSS, a 15-year veteran of the accounting software industry, having held senior management roles with ABSS Ltd spanning China, South East Asia and New Zealand.

Rhys brings a background in technology with a passion for helping small businesses grow and thrive. Rhys is responsible for driving regional relationships with government, financial institutions, enterprise and promoting the small business economy.

Commenting on the appointment, Group Managing Director Ameer Sheik Mydin said:
