Censof Contributes To MIA Accounting & Financial Technology Showcase 2026 Dialogue On Humanizing Digital Intelligence In Finance

by nurul nurul No Comments

Kuala Lumpur,8 April 2026 –Censof Holdings Berhad (“Censof” or “the Group”) was honoured to participate as Diamond Partner of the MIA Accounting & Financial Technology Showcase 2026 (“MIA AFT 2026”), held today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

Themed “Financial Architects of Impact: Humanising Digital Intelligence,” MIA AFT 2026 is the Malaysian Institute of Accountants’ (“MIA”) flagship technology showcase, bringing together close to 2,500 accountancy professionals and finance leaders alongside more than 50 technology companies. It serves as a vital platform connecting the accountancy profession with forward-looking technology solutions, guiding finance leaders on the journey from digital adoption to adaptability and adeptness.

As Diamond Partner, Censof contributed three knowledge-sharing sessions delivered by senior representatives from the Group and its subsidiary, Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd — namely Jude Lopez, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of Censof Holdings Berhad; Mohd Faiz Bin Alias, Chief Executive Officer of Century Software; and Maizatul Ashikin Mohd Aris, Senior General Manager for Government Technology at Century Software.

Across the sessions, the speakers collectively advanced a consistent message: that the most critical barriers to AI adoption in finance are human rather than technical, and that intelligent enterprise systems must be designed to earn trust, support sound judgement and preserve human accountability — not circumvent it. Drawing on both research and real-world implementation experience, the speakers proposed the 3E Framework of Explainable, Empowering and Ethical as a practical design standard for organisations deploying AI in financial contexts, and emphasised that the true measure of intelligent ERP is not algorithmic sophistication, but whether the people using it feel confident acting on what it tells them.

Censof’s participation at MIA AFT 2026 is consistent with its broader strategic direction of evolving enterprise systems from transactional platforms into intelligent, continuously compliant financial tools — ones that preserve human oversight while meaningfully reducing the interpretation burden on finance professionals. Censof is also actively deepening its capabilities in artificial intelligence and enterprise intelligence design, with a focus on building systems that are trustworthy, auditable and purposefully aligned with how finance professionals work.

“Finance professionals today are expected to do far more than process information. They are expected to interpret complexity, exercise sound judgement and support better outcomes for their organisations. Technology must therefore evolve in a way that is practical, trusted and aligned with how finance teams actually work,” said Ameer Shaik Mydin, Group Managing Director, Censof Holdings Berhad. “At Censof, we believe intelligent financial systems should help people make better decisions, strengthen compliance and unlock greater value from data, while keeping accountability firmly in human hands.”

Through Century Software and its other technology-driven businesses, Censof has built a broad portfolio spanning financial management solutions for government, commercial and SME clients, as well as wealth management solutions, cloud services, intelligent automation, e-procurement and other digital capabilities. This breadth places the Group in a strong position to support organisations seeking more connected, intelligent and scalable finance technology environments. As organisations continue rethinking how finance should function in a more intelligent and digital future, Censof remains focused on delivering solutions that combine domain expertise, technology capability and practical implementation experience to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
